With the opening of the new Reid Building a permanent display was created to showcase the history of the famous Glasgow School of Art building and its renowned alumni.
It was important that the School’s iconic archive pieces were displayed at their best and that the visitor could be guided through the history of the School in a simple and accessible way. With the heartbreaking fires that subsequently damaged the Mackintosh building, this display has taken on an even more important role. The layout and structure of the exhibition was developed in partnership with MKW Design.
